Missions

Regional Cancer Center is one of the most modern medical and diagnostic institutions in the Irkutsk Region. The latest diagnostic and laboratory medical equipment allow to identify malignant process at the earliest stages, determine the genetic predisposition to a malignancy, and determine the sensitivity to chemotherapeutic drugs at the molecular genetic level.

Annually, over 25 thousand people are treated at the Cancer Center, more than 20 thousand surgical interventions are performed, of which 12 thousand are extended surgeries carried out in the hospital, and more than 8 thousand are outpatient, every year more than 6 thousand patients receive technologically advanced medical care. Irkutsk Regional Cancer Center provides medical service not only to residents of the Angara region, but also to residents of other regions of the Siberian Federal District - Buryatia, Chita, Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republics of Khakassia and Yakutia.

Regional Cancer Center carries out continuous systematic work to improve the quality and safety of medical care, modernize equipment and reconstruct infrastructure, expand the range of medical services in order to fully meet consumer requirements, because:
